INSURANCE + PRIVATE PAY

Got insurance?

Many insurance companies have benefits for medical nutrition therapy with a registered dietitian. Every policy is different, so the first step is learning what your plan may cover.

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

Yes—Grayce works with many larger commercial insurance options.

Many plans cover 100%, but patient responsibility can vary.

If your insurance is out of network, Grayce may still be able to bill your plan, though your responsibility is likely to be higher. A discovery call is the best place to ask about your specific next step.

Insurance benefits are not a guarantee of coverage or payment. Your plan determines final responsibility after a claim is processed.

What should I expect?

The first consultation is approximately 90 minutes. Follow-up sessions are approximately 45 minutes. The number and frequency of sessions are tailored to each client.

PAYMENT

Private-pay options

Grayce accepts major credit and debit cards. A single session can be purchased, and Allie will explain the plan that best fits your needs.

LOCATION

Virtual or in person

Most clients meet virtually for convenience. In-person sessions are also available at the Tyler office.

GOOD TO KNOW

Dietitian or nutritionist?

Dietitians are licensed professionals accredited through the Commission on Dietetic Registration after completing degree, internship, examination, and supervised-practice requirements. “Nutritionist” is a general term and does not carry the same licensure or insurance-billing qualifications.
